Why compete in the goruck games?
A competition of grit worth $50K in prize money.
This type of competition has not been done anywhere else. Confidence courses are a staple of military training, and are also very prevalent in this day and age with the popularity of Obstacle Course Racing (OCR). Rucking has been around since the days of hunter gatherers, but has only recently seen huge growth via the GORUCK community — to put weight on your back and move is a primal skill to master. And the types of physical challenges we are presenting are now more commonplace than ever with the rise of functional fitness in parks, boxes, and garage gyms all over the world and competitive events like the Rogue Invitational.

THE GORUCK Challenge
The GORUCK Games are a simple and true test of grit that also honors our roots in Special Forces, which is what we have sought to do since the beginning.
To better understand our culture and our roots, athletes competing in the 2023 GORUCK Games are encouraged to complete a GORUCK Challenge prior to competition.
If you're a serious athlete and intend on competing in the GORUCK Games, we'll happily comp your entry fee. This is so that you better understand rucking and our Special Forces mindset.
